Trix 25050 DB-AG Class 103.1 Electric Locomotive (MFX/DCC Sound)

PROTOTYPE

German Railroad, Inc. (DB AG) class 103.1 electric locomotive. Version with a “long” driver’s cab, single-arm pantographs, front apron and buffer cladding. Fictitious long-distance traffic colour scheme for the 50th anniversary of IC traffic in Germany. Road number 103 050-1.

DETAILS

The locomotive has a digital decoder and extensive sound functions. Centrally installed 5-pole high-efficiency propulsion with a flywheel. Two axles in each drive frame are driven by cardan shafts. Traction tires. The triple headlights and two red marker lights change over with the direction of travel, will work in conventional operation, and can be controlled digitally. The headlights on locomotive ends 2 and 1 can be digitally switched off separately. The cab and engine room lighting can be controlled digitally. Lighting with maintenance-free warm white and red light-emitting diodes (LED). Attached windshield wipers. Grab bars and roof lines of metal. A closed apron, brake lines, sockets and screw couplings are included as separately attachable parts.
