Trix 23219 CIWL Simplon-Orient-Express-Set (5) II (DCC-SOUND)

PROTOTYPE:

Five (5) different express train passenger cars of different types, designed by the Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-Lits et des Grands Express Européens (CIWL), for the Simplon-Orient-Express. Thereof 2 four-axle baggage carts, 1 six-axle dining car, 2 four-axle sleeping cars, each in steel blue livery. Condition, the early 1930s.

MODEL:

The models are finely constructed by fine execution with many separately applied details Different coloured interiors. Different company numbers. A luggage trolley equipped as standard with digital decoder, for switching light and sound functions as well as red illuminated taillights. Trapped bellows with folded-up transition plates for end car of the set. On each side of the end car only short coupling head in the standard shaft. Doors of the luggage carts can be opened. All cars with standard integrated LED interior lighting and standard built-in separable current-carrying short couplings. Table lamps in the dining car are illuminated and, together with the interior lighting and the red taillights, are conventionally in operation, digitally switchable. Current-carrying short couplings can be exchanged with the enclosed, live fixed coupling drawbars. Power consumption via the luggage cart.
