This is the Team Orion Brushless Motor 6000KV For Micro 1/18th RC CarFor: Micro 1/18 RC CarDesign: Sensorless-BasedOperated with: Brushless ESCInstallation: To prevent damage to the motor, use motor screws with an appropriate length. Position the motor so that the solder tabs or the wires are out of harm’s way and allow convenient access for installation and removal. Connect 2mm on the motor to those of the ESC.Timing: Your ESC Comes equipped with a pre-determined timing setting in its software. Please check the ESC manual to choose the appropriate drive program. The Vortex fixed timing is pre-set to give the best power/effciency ratio. We recommend the use of team Orion Brushless sensorless controllers.Gear Ratio: Make sure you use an adapted gear ratio. Varying track surfaces and course lengths will require gear ratio adjustments for maximun performance and reliability.Maintenance: the Vortex brushless motor do not require special maintenance. From time to time you can lubricate the ball bearing. To do this simply put a drop of oil on each ball bearing.Troubleshooting Model goes backward: Reverse abd two of the three wires connecting the motor to the controller. This operation is 100% safeTroubleshooting Model and/or controller overheating: Use a smaller pinion(shorter gearing). Make sure the transmission runs freely. Run in a lower ambient temperature setting. Install an optional cooling fan system.
