Description

Tamiya 24031 1/24 Audi Quattro

Tamiya welcomes an updated re-issue of Item 24031 1/24 Audi Quattro with updated decals, instruction manual and packaging. The Audi Quattro played a major role in moving four-wheel drive vehicles away from being the exclusive domain of heavy off-road cars.

While the body was similar to the Audi Coupé, its flared fenders and spoilers front and rear hinted strongly at its high performance, but its full-time four-wheel drive was naturally the main talking point. Power was provided by a 2,144cc inline-five cylinder engine with a turbocharger and intercooler that output an impressive 200hp. While the car itself remains an ageless classic, the “Quattro” name is also still used by Audi for its four-wheel drive system.

About The Model

  • This is a 1/24 scale plastic model assembly kit. Length: 185mm, width: 79mm, height: 57mm
  • The 2-door coupe, sporty form with flared fenders and spoilers is captured in style
  • Features realistic depictions of inline-5 turbo engine, suspension and 4WD drive system
  • Interior features such as seats, dashboards and shift lever are also faithfully recreated

  • Realistic synthetic rubber tyres with tread patterns

  • Instructions depict four body colours for painting: silver, red, white and blue
