Formidable close combat attack helicopter designed and built in the United States. Prototypes first flew in 1975, production aircraft entering service with the US Army from 1986. The upgraded Apache Longbow followed in 1997 and is the version represented in the Takom model kit.

New tooling. Full cockpit & interior, detailed weapons load. Folding rotor blades (approx diameter in flight mode 418.2mm). Photo-etch parts included. Choice of 3 markings.
