Description
No. 75075 was out shopped in November 1955, with its first allocation being at Exmouth Junction (72A). Following spells at various other sheds, 75075 was allocated to Eastleigh (71A) in December 1963 – where it would remain until withdrawal. No. 75075 was fitted with a double blast pipe and chimney – to improve draughting at the front end – in September 1961 and later received a BR1F tender. Following the end of steam on the Southern Region on 9th July 1967.
75075 was withdrawn and cut-up at A. King & Sons Ltd, Norwich in October of the same year.
