The Avid AE 3×27.5 shock shafts are chrome-plated to ensure the smoothest surface possible. They utilize Associated’s V2 screw mount design to keep the piston in place.

TIPS

We recommend that when replacing shafts you always replace them with the Avid X-rings, Avid Machined Shock Spacers, and Avid Slop Oring Grease.
